Return Policy

Need to return merchandise? We try to make returns as easy as possible. Please call your sales representative or contact us. You must obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number from TriMark before returning items to us. We will review your request and provide further instructions.

Before returning your items, please read our policy and instructions below.

Return Policy

Merchandise may be returned within thirty (30) days of receipt if product is unused and in the original packaging with all accessories and parts included.  Custom, configured, or fabricated merchandise is not returnable.

The list below defines what merchandise is eligible for return and any associated restocking or handling fees.  The definition of supplies, light equipment and heavy equipment are to be used as guideline for classifying product which is not clearly one or the other.

A. Stock = Merchandise with a replenishment plan for stored inventory in a TriMark warehouse.

B. Non-Stock = Merchandise without a replenishment plan for stored inventory in a TriMark warehouse.

C. Supplies and Light Equipment = Merchandise that has the following characteristics: weighs less than 75lbs per unit of sale or per case unit of sale, AND does not require specialized handling equipment for delivery (a standard 2-wheel dolly is not considered specialized handling equipment), AND does not require installation, plumbing or wiring of any kind at the customer site. A standard electrical plug is not considered “wiring”.

D. Heavy Equipment = Merchandise that has the following characteristics:  Weighs 75lbs or greater per unit of sale or case unit of sale, OR  Requires specialized handling equipment for delivery, OR  Requires installation, plumbing or electrical wiring of any kind at the customer site. Restock Fees

The list below defines the Restock Fees associated with returns.

A. Stock Supplies and Light Equipment = No charges or fees

B. Stock Heavy Equipment = Original charges for freight and/or Deliver and Set

C. Non-Stock Supplies and Light Equipment = 30% of sales price exclusive of sales tax.

D. Non-Stock Heavy Equipment = 20% of sales price exclusive of sales tax, plus original freight charges.

E. Customers with Cost Plus Contracts = Costs incurred by TriMark associated with return of the merchandise such as packaging, handling, and freight; plus, the associated merchandise supplier’s Restock Fee. Final Sale & Nonreturnable Items

  • Perishable and Consumable Items (including food and disposables)

  • Used Items
  • Special Order* / 1900
  • Custom Items
  • Products sold in aerosol cans
  • Products that contain flammable liquid
  • Furniture

* Special Order Items are notated as “Special Order” on product detail or description - Please inquire about special ordered items, as manufacturers' terms for returns may vary.

** In some cases, TriMark may deduct the shipping costs from your refund amount.

Commercial & Home Use Policy: Manufacturer warranties may only cover commercial use for products. Use of items in non-commercial environments may void warranties. The right is reserved to deny a sale or shipment for residential usage; if this occurs, you will be notified as soon as possible.

Fees: All balances on special order items, and opening orders, must be paid in full prior to delivery or within 30 days, whichever occurs first. Storage fees are 2% of order cost per month after the first 30 days.

Delivery & Installation: Installation and delivery are not included unless specified on your order. Basic charges do not include lifting over counters and railings, or removal of appliances being replaced. If you choose not to have us deliver your equipment, we will not be responsible for any physical damage after it has left our premises. We gladly give free assistance loading any equipment into your vehicle, but we will not be responsible for any damage to you, your possessions, or your vehicle during the process. Inspect all items carefully before leaving our facility.

In the event litigation becomes necessary, the prevailing party shall recover reasonable attorney’s fees. Exceptions may apply if TriMark made an error processing your order. Certain restrictions may apply.
